Summer 2021 Statement
The Nefyn committee have reluctantly decided that, due to Welsh COVID regulations, the usual Nefyn camps can not run again this year. However, we are really keen to provide the ‘Nefyn experience’ to all who were looking forward to camp and so are exploring a range of possibilities – including shorter Camps in the North West of England and/or OnlinePLUS camps. We are aiming to have more information available by the end of next week (19th June) so please keep an eye out to keep up to date as plans develop. For the moment we have paused bookings for Nefyn camps whilst we review options but plan to create a new booking form once plans for the summer are clear.
Nefyn Camps have been operating for over 50 years and are part of Urban Saints, a national Christian youth organisation, whose aim is to introduce young people to the Bible and Christian teaching whilst enjoying themselves.
After a year of virtual Nefyn we have begun to look forward to Nefyn 2021, we hope that we will able to be back on the field once again to share together in a fun week on camp. The weeks have been finalised and look like this:
A Camp – Saturday 24th – 31st July – 14-16 years old – Ben & Ali Slater & Sam & Abi Lovell
B Camp – Saturday 31st July – 7th August – 9-11 years old – Johnny & Rachel Read
