Nefyn Camps have been operating for over 50 years and are part of Urban Saints, a national Christian youth organisation, whose aim is to introduce young people to the Bible and Christian teaching whilst enjoying themselves.

Nefyn Camps 2020 are looking a bit different this year. We can’t meet up and go onto the field at Nefyn. Instead we’re running virtual camps, Senior and Junior. Both camps will involve quiet times, evening meetings, and lots of exciting challenges and activities to give a flavour of Nefyn and a chance to learn more about God.

Senior Camp (for 13 – 18 year olds)

Saturday 25th July to Sat 1st August

Junior Camp (for 9- 13 year olds)

Sunday 2nd August to Thurs 6th August

Senior camp will involve evening meetings, quiet times, taskmaster challenges, thought for the day and an after hours programme including gameshow, hangout, Nefyn Quiz, Nefyn Fire.

Junior camp will be made up of activities such as group quiet times, challenges, evening meetings and some adapted ‘big hitters’, Cluedo, Volcanoes, Wanted, Hunt the Leader.

Each virtual camp is led by a team of experienced leaders. Activities on the virtual camps will take place in the morning and evening. They are carefully planned and will involve a mix of closed and open access. Closed access events will take place on Zoom and will allow young people to participate fully in the activities. We take online safeguarding very seriously (please see link to policies). To be involved in the closed access sections young people need to be pre-registered using the link below.

Registration and application forms

There is no charge for registering on the 2020 virtual camps.

We also welcome applications from leaders for both camps and from apprentice leaders (16 and 17 year olds) for junior camp.
